Cartridge filters are used for fine filtration of micronic particles, cartridges have an inherent advantage over other filter elements by way of their standard modular structure - they remain highly interchangeable.
Cartridge elements, generally, made of synthetic fabrics, thread wound, paper are throwaways with no or little possibility of reuse. Cartridges of sintered stainless steel cleanable and reusable type also available.
